Electromagnetic Pulley

Description : Erich magnetic pulley is a widely used type of magnetic separator for the efficient removal of tramp iron. It is used either as the head pulley of a belt conveyor installation or as drive pulley in a self contained pulley type separator. Electromagnetic pulley is basically composed by a set of rolled mild steel pole shoes of high magnetic permeability. Coils are made from aluminum of copper wires or strips with class insulation. Feeding is made through a bipolar axial slip rings direct current usually 110V or 220V. Available diameters from 250 to 1500mm and length up to 2000mm.

Permanent Magnetic Pulley

Description : Erich permanent magnetic pulley is a dual purpose device. It functions as drive pulley for the belt conveyor and at the same time provide effective, automatic and continuous removal of tramp metal from a material flow.
The permanent magnetic pulley is basically composed by a set of rolled milled steel pole shoes of high permeability. Permanent magnets either strontium ferrite or high power rare-earth magnets are used. The magnet is of bi-polar nature with its field intensity uniformly distributed across the entire surface. Magnets are covered with aluminum or stainless steel shell and are bolted to heavy duty stainless steel end flanges and mounted to a sheet shaft. Available diameters from 250 to 1500mm and width up to 2000mm.

Electromagnetic Drums

Description : For removal of tramp iron Erich magnetic drums are used in various industries. For purification of materials or extraction of iron from sand, carbon, glass, flours and chemicals, magnetic drums are the most useful equipment. These are available in diameters from 200 to 1000 mm and length from 200 to 2000 mm, in permanent ferrite and high power rare earth magnets.

Electrosuspension Magnets/Cross Belt separators

Description : Erich's suspended electromagnetic separators are designed to successfully remove damaging tramp metal from flow of coal, limestone, sand, gravel, wood products, recycled materials and almost any conveyed non-ferrous material.

As the product on a conveyor belt flows under the powerful magnetic field, ferrous material is pulled out of the product flow and held to the face of the magnet.

With self- cleaning models, continuous cleaning is made possible by a heavy duty cleated belt that encircles the magnet on a series of rotating pulleys. As ferrous metal is attracted and held by the magnet, the moving belt carries the collected metal outside of the magnetic field where it is then released beyond the product flow.

Permanent Suspended Magnets/Cross Belt separators

These permanent suspended magnets are equally effective on dry or wet, fine or coarse material for the application of separation. Permanent suspended magnets are used on a large scale because they are maintenance free and do not require power source.

Description : Permanent Magnetic Tubes & Grids: Erich permanent magnetic grids are designed primarily for hoppers for the extraction of ferrous metals from free flowing materials such as plastics, food,grains, and minerals. Manufactured to any size or shape they are simply placed in the hopper to rest against the sides thus allowing the materials to flow through the grid. Two styles of magnetic grids are available in round and rectangular / square. Both are constructed of stainless steel with 1” diameter magnetic tubes.Available in ferrite and high power rare earth magnetic material. Magnetic tube are made as per customers specification.
